From Captain Kidd's buried treasure to haunted lighthouses, there is a lot of eerie history to explore.
Many of these stories can be found in the books of paranormal historian Michael J. Bielawa. He has penned three publications about haunted happenings in Connecticut.
Photographer Christina E. Cole also has three books about wild, wonderful and abandoned Connecticut.
They hope their works will be an inspiration for others do some exploring of their own.
