A Commack woman says someone wearing an Amazon vest stole a box from her doorstep.
It happened Wednesday afternoon on Ott Place. Lori McGauley says a box containing an iPhone was taken. She says the thief left behind a decoy box, nearly identical to the one taken, but with no iPhone inside.
As News 12 has reported, there have been several recent iPhone porch pirate thefts. Police in Yonkers are investigating if criminals are tracking iPhone home deliveries.

Police are investigating the theft. No arrests have been made.
