A message of hate was found
at a primary school in Miller Place, according to school officials.
The message was found written
in chalk on a sidewalk at the Andrew Muller Primary School.
According to school
officials, the incident took place on April 23 around 4:15 p.m.
The school says it reported
it to police on April 24 at 12:54 p.m.
News 12 has learned the
person found to be responsible for the incident is a minor, and no further
details would be released.
The Miller Place School District sent a message to parents saying
the district does not tolerate discrimination of any kind, and the graffiti has
since been removed. In addition, the school district says disciplinary action
has already been taken.
