A peacock escaped its home on a farm in Nassau County Tuesday and eventually made its way across county lines into Huntington.
Neighbors say that last week, the bird flew the coop from Armstrong Farm of Lattingtown in Locust Valley, which is coincidentally located on Peacock Lane.
Sandra Mikas, who lives next to the Armstrong Farm, says her son had previously nicknamed the peacock "Gulliver."
And now Gulliver is travelling.
Huntington residents say they've seen the peacock around town, but so far, no one's been able to catch it.
