(AP) -- Emergency workers are at the scene of an apparent crane collapse at the Tappan Zee (TAP'-uhn zee) Bridge in the New York suburbs.
Online images show what appear to be a piece of a crane lying across lanes in both directions on the bridge, which spans Rockland and Westchester counties.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
The Rockland County executive's office says the incident began unfolding around noon Tuesday.
