Elisa DiStefano is an Emmy-nominated features reporter for News 12 Long Island.

With over a decade of experience in live and breaking news, DiStefano reports regularly on the red carpet and at celebrity events. She is also the traffic and entertainment anchor for News 12’s Morning Show.

Her celebrity and feature articles are featured in numerous publications. She is a regular contributor and the Arts & Entertainment Expert for Luxury Living Magazine, and writes the weekly Hamptons Buzz for amNewYork in the summer season.

DiStefano was voted Best Local TV reporter by the Long Island Press several years running. She’s been honored for her work on her weekly animal adoption segment and was also named Humanitarian of the Year by the American Cancer Society. DiStefano enjoys volunteering her time to help a variety of causes, and hosts many charity events including her own Sneakers and Sandals Beach Ball, benefiting local organizations including Long Island Cares. She is also a proud member of the Junior League.

DiStefano is a graduate of Boston University College of Communication and Delta Gamma alum.
