7h agoOfficials say one person was killed in a crash Tuesday night on the Southern State Parkway in Islip.
The crash shut down the eastbound side of the Southern State Parkway around 10:27 p.m.
The parkway was shut down near Exit 43 but has since reopened, police say.
In video taken at the scene, a motorcycle is seen off to the side and a car is facing the wrong way on the road.
News 12 Long Island has learned the attorney general’s office is involved in the investigation.
