Video sent to News 12 from the expressway shows cars backed up in traffic.
What appears to be smoke coming from over a median is also seen in the video.
The video also shows what appears to be a black vehicle against that median.
News 12 also received calls from drivers who were stuck in traffic.
It was not immediately clear what caused the traffic jam as of Sunday night.
