One East Islip woman found a way to raise money this weekend for a relative who is battling cancer.
Korissa Falco held a dog wash to fundraise money for her aunt who has been battling brain cancer since 2018.
Pet owners came to get their dogs washed and have their pups' nails trimmed. Owners could enter a 50/50 raffle.
"We have a very big family, and we always try to stick together, and to see everyone here today proves that we are super strong. {Aunt} Pattey is strong all the way," Falco said.
The dog wash will continue Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Kori's Grooming Pawlor in East Islip.
