Carlos Fidel Gutama, 52, of East Hampton, abused the victim on multiple occasions in November 2022, according to police.

An East End carpenter was arrested for sexually abusing a child.
Carlos Fidel Gutama, 52, of East Hampton, abused a 13-year-old on multiple occasions in November 2022, according to police.
The victim first reported it to a Child Protective Services employee, who then contacted the East Hampton Town Police Department.
Gutama works as a carpenter for Guerrero’s Carpentry located on East Hampton Sag Harbor Turnpike in Sag Harbor.
Detectives charged the man with 2 counts of sexual abuse and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.
