The Wickham family roots go back to the
1600s on the North Fork. Lots of roots have been planted on the 140-acre farm
over the centuries.
Now they primarily grow fruit - from cherries in spring, berries in summer and
plenty of fall fruit.
Along with selling their fruit as is, they also turn that fruit into delicious
sweets.
They also make chocolate chip cookies - a cookie that has a little twist to it
- shredded apple.
They produce apple cider, which also has a twist to it. They add pears to the
apples when they press cider.
All of this is done on a centuries old farm where time seems to have stood
still.
