This week's East End segment is for the people who really, really, really like their wine!
News 12's Doug Geed visited one of Long Island's oldest wineries - beautiful Macari Vineyards in Mattituck.
Joe Macari III oversees the vineyards for the winery that bears his family's name.
Harvest time means lots of work and very long days, but a lot of anticipation.
"Like right now is probably the height of our excitement. The harvest is when I feel the best because we're getting everything that we've worked for off," Joe says.
Joe's sister Gabriella says the winery has various seating areas where guests and groups can drink and learn about their wines.
There's an enclosed porch, tables right by the vines and even heated tents.
It's a busy time of year for those in the industry, catering to people trying to escape the busyness in their lives.
