All For The East End (AFTEE) presents “Show Time in Southampton” to benefit local food pantries and other nonprofits on the East End of Long Island still struggling from the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Show Time in Southampton” is a drive-in movie series that will take place at the Southampton Elks Lodge, on County Road 39 and runs over three weekends: July 17 and 18, July 24 and 25, and July 31 and Aug. 1.
“Show Time in Southampton” is designed to provide fun entertainment during a summer overshadowed by the pandemic. Vehicles will be set up with space to safely tailgate and set up chairs.
Those attending will be able to select their parking spot when purchasing tickets. Reservations are required. A small selection of tickets can be purchased for $25 per vehicle. Spots closer to the screen increase in price and include a donation to AFTEE.
There will be food trucks and portable restrooms available. Security will be on site, and traffic control will be provided. Volunteers will help guide people to and from their vehicles and remind patrons to wear masks when leaving their individual safety zone. A designated section to honor pantry workers will also be set up at each presentation.
The movies that will be shown include:
Friday, July 17 - "Men in Black"
Saturday, July 18 - "Dirty Dancing"
Friday, July 24 - "Raiders of the Lost Arc"
Saturday, July 25 - "Rocky"
Friday, July 31 - "Transformers"
