Early voting begins Saturday across Long Island ahead of Election Day 2025
Voters can choose any early voting location within their county but should note that early voting sites are likely different from Election Day polling places.

Election Day is just around the corner, but Long Island voters don’t have to wait until Nov. 4 to cast their ballots. Early voting begins Saturday, October 25, and runs through Sunday, Nov. 2.
Residents in both Nassau and Suffolk counties will have nine days to cast their ballots at any early voting site in their county.
“I’m going there early because I want to miss the rush on Tuesday,” said Roxanne Esaian, of Mineola, who plans to take advantage of early voting.
Nassau County will have 27 early voting sites, and Suffolk County will open 28 sites.

“Once you vote at your early voting site, you cannot go to your site and vote on Election Day,” explained James Scheuerman, Democratic commissioner for the Nassau County Board of Elections. “They’re readily accessible, and we’re seeing more voters engage themselves in the democratic process.”
