An Eagle Scout is honoring the lives lost in Fairfield since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic with a memorial.
Lin Sunil, a high school senior, says everyone was impacted by COVID-19 and he wanted to create unity in his community. On the memorial, it says in part… "In loving memory of those angels who've fallen due to COVID-19."
The first selectwoman's office says 216 people have died from COVID-19 in Fairfield.
Sunil says he wants to show that the town supports anyone who is suffering after losing someone to the deadly virus.
