A 25-year-old man was arrested for killing a Nesconset motorcyclist during a crash early Saturday morning in Stony Brook, according to police.

Authorities say Mark Anthony Giordano struck 24-year-old Jerry Diaz around 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of Nesconset Highway and Moriches Road. Diaz was pronounced dead at the scene.

Giordano was apprehended and charged with DWI. Anyone with additional information is urged to call police.
