Dr. J returned home to Long Island Wednesday to unveil a new “Dream Court” at Eisenhower Park.
Julius Erving, a graduate of Roosevelt High School, helped out at a basketball clinic for children on the new court.
“It’s our way of saying the future is in pretty good hands,” Erving says. “The kids are here and they are showing enthusiasm and they will be able to use the court, make something of themselves and speak to the next generation of children.”
The Dream Court is high school regulation size and open to the public.
