DOJ: Fugitive, high-ranking MS-13 leader indicted

Elmer Canales-Rivera was indicted on terrorism offenses relating to gang’s activities in the United States, El Salvador and Mexico in 2020.

A fugitive and alleged MS-13 gang leader has been indicted, according to the Department of Justice.
They say Elmer Canales-Rivera was arrested and transferred to New York.
Canales-Rivera was indicted on terrorism offenses relating to gang’s activities in the United States, El Salvador and Mexico in 2020.
The FBI and members of Homeland Security arrested Caneles-Rivera when he arrived at an airport in Houston.
