13ds agoA Bellmore couple is mourning the loss of their beloved puppy after he died at a training facility in Deer Park.
Vincent Pedone and Miranda Wisell sent their 5-month-old Italian Grayhound Obi to K9 Mania for what was supposed to be a three-week program. The puppy never made it out alive.
Surveillance video given to the couple shows cold water from a burst pipe spraying onto the dog’s cage in the middle of the night. Obi’s owners say that continued for five hours.
The dog’s body eventually went into a deadly state of shock.
An employee at K9 Mania says they are deeply sorry for what happened, and are launching an internal investigation.
