A couple was arrested at their Dix Hills home, where Suffolk County police say they threw a huge party Friday night, and let minors drink alcohol.

Detectives say they received multiple 911 calls at 9:40 p.m. reporting a large party at 63 Seward Dr.

Responding officers found a large party with several hundred teenagers at the home and in the neighborhood.

The officers found two 16-year-old girls, who do not live at the home, showing signs of alcohol poisoning, according to authorities. The Dix Hills Fire Department took both teens to Huntington Hospital.

Detectives say a large party tent and portable toilets were set up for the event.

An ad for the party was posted on social media that indicated more than 500 guests were expected. Admission was also being charged for the event, according to Suffolk County police.

Police arrested husband and wife Philip and Rita Baccarella for violation of the social host law. They also face two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

They are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Nov. 20.
