Discovery of human remains at park leaves Babylon community rattled

Families in Babylon are grappling with the gruesome discovery of several body parts in a park visited by many in the community.
"They hang out here, they ride their bikes, they walk here," says Claud Winter, of Babylon. "I mean, this is his route to school."
News 12's Jon Dowding spoke with parents about the difficult conversations they are now having with their children.
Police say the human remains of a male and female were found at Southards Pond Park, which is located right next to Babylon Elementary School.
John Harkins, of Babylon, says honesty is important when his children ask questions, but that it is important to "tread lightly."
