You might be familiar with "The Little Prince," but you might now know its connection to Long Island.
The book talks about love, loss and friendship – with the majority of it created on Long Island’s North Shore in Northport in 1943.
The Northport Library has a statue of the Little Prince in front of the building to pay tribute.
The book has been translated into more than 500 different languages and dialects – the most of any book.
