A Williston Park man is accused of making threats that forced the lockdown of an elementary school in Albertson.
Detectives say Goran Preda, 42, was on the phone with school officials at Meadow Drive Elementary School in Albertson Thursday. That's when they say he threatened a violent act.
School officials immediately locked the school down and called 911. No one was hurt.
Preda was arrested and charged with making a terroristic threat.
