DEC officer saves bald eagle found stuck in East Marion

The DEC officer who freed the bald eagle is now caring for it until it can be released into the wild.

An injured eagle is on the mend because of a Department of Environmental and Conservation officer.
The bird got itself stuck in a fence in East Marion on Dec. 15. It was hurt so badly that it could not fly.
The DEC officer who freed the bald eagle is now caring for it until it can be released into the wild.
