Curran says high winds, rip currents from Isaias are main concerns for Nassau County

Nassau County Executive Laura Curran spoke with News 12 Long Island about Isaias possible impact on Long Island.
Curran says she and other officials are relieved that the high tide will not coincide with the brunt of the storm, but adds that the main concern are high winds and rip currents.
She adds that shelters are ready and will implement social distancing requirements.
She is now encouraging residents who live on flood-prone areas to move their cars to higher ground just in case of potential flooding
