Huge crowds flocked to Jones Beach State Park under sunny skies Sunday for the second and final day of the 11th annual Bethpage Air Show.
The Meadowbrook Parkway seemed more like a parking lot for most of the day as cars inched their way to the beach to see the show in the sky.
More than 200,000 people packed onto the beach. The state parks regional director said Jones Beach was packed to capacity Sunday and every parking spot was full.
The U.S. Navy's Blue Angels performed, as did the American Airpower Museum Warbirds, the GEICO Skytypers and the Army's Golden Knights parachute stunt team.
Last year, the Blue Angels did not perform because they were grounded by federal budget cuts.
