An attorney for the driver accused of killing two men riding an allegedly stolen dirt bike appeared in court Thursday for a hearing.
Christopher Bouchard is charged with reckless endangerment for allegedly hitting and killing two men because he believed they stole his brother's dirt bike.
The crash killed Keenen King, of Shirley, and Anthony Holmes-Garriques, of North Bellport.
Demonstrators at the courthouse say they want to see the charges upgraded against Bouchard.
Bouchard's attorney says the Mastic Beach man never intended to hurt anyone.
