Court documents show that the alleged victims of a retired Bay Shore elementary school teacher were 4 and 8 years old when the abuse started.

Thomas Bernagozzi allegedly assaulted the youngest victim once and the older victim until he was 10.

Bernagozzi, now 75, has pleaded not guilty to all charges against him. He is currently free without bail and has been ordered to wear a GPS monitor.

He and the Bay Shore Union Free School District also face 45 civil lawsuits from other former students.

Police are asking anyone who believes they are a victim to call them.
