County Executive Steve Bellone gives update on Suffolk's COVID-19 response

Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone gave an update on the response to the COVID-19 outbreak on Sunday.
BRIEFING NOTES:
-Another 12 people have died in Suffolk from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, for a total of 1,834 in the county.
-Bellone says without the efforts of essential workers and regular residents, the toll would be much higher. He says we must "continue to be smart" to see continued progress.
-Bellone referenced a case of "people not acting smartly," referencing social media posts that showed patrons at a bar in Patchogue in violation of shutdown orders. He notes that the owners apologized and said it wouldn't happen again. Bellone says it  was "unacceptable and not smart."
-Bellone says Suffolk has 374 people hospitalized for COVID-19, the first time it's below 400 in weeks.
