A collision between two school buses in Copiague Tuesday was caught on camera.
In home surveillance footage posted on YouTube, a full-sized school bus rams into a shorter school van at full speed, flipping it on its side. The video shows the larger bus going through a stop sign just before the crash.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Molloy and Mazzini streets.
Both drivers and a female student who was in the van were rushed to the hospital. They have since been released.
Both vehicles were operated by the same company, Educational Bus Transportation.
Officials say drugs and alcohol were not a factor, but they've suspended the bus driver while they investigate.
The stop lines at the sign were freshly painted Wednesday. Neighbors say the stop sign is hard to see because it's partly blocked by branches.
