Copiague LIRR station now fully ADA accessible

According to officials, the Amityville, Lindenhurst and Massapequa Park stations are the next stations on the Babylon branch to be equipped with accessibility options.

The Copiague LIRR station is now equipped with an elevator, making it the first station on the Babylon branch to become fully ADA accessible.
MTA officials say the work doesn’t stop there.
"We're determined to finish full ADA accessibility at all Long Island Rail Road stations as soon as possible. By the end of the contracts that are already underway, we're going to have 119 out of 126 stations ADA accessible," said MTA chair and CEO Janno Lieber.
According to officials, the Amityville, Lindenhurst and Massapequa Park stations are the next stations on the Babylon branch to be equipped with accessibility options.
