Chilly weekend on Long Island; tracking pre-Halloween storm ahead

Autumn lovers, this is your weekend! Fall foliage is at it's best color of the season across the island and temperatures are cool and crisp with a low risk for rain. Cool temperatures remain through our first weekend of November, but we have rain in the forecast that could linger for Halloween on Friday. The average high is in the low 60s, but temperatures will likely remain below that for at least the next 10 days. Here's a day-by-day breakdown.
Note: Sunday night will be our coldest night so far this season. Although widespread frost is not expected, this will likely be the first frost of the season for interior parts of the island areas out east.
