The U.S. Commerce Department has upheld New York's rejection of the Broadwater liquefied natural gas terminal.
"Democracy is alive and well," says Broadwater opponent Adrienne Esposito.
Esposito says Broadwater's only hope in getting the barge deployed is to challenge the federal decision in court, which could take years.
