Colleagues turned couple open yoga studio in Long Beach

Jackie and Frank Garguilo met while working together as detectives for the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office.
The couple practiced yoga in Long Beach and when the opportunity arose for them to purchase the studio where they practiced, they were all in.
In addition to running the business, they also teach at their studio.
Jackie said people told her that she was making the biggest mistake of her life when she decided to leave her job in law enforcement.
She said it “ended up being the best thing I’ve ever done for myself.”
The studio is located on E. Park Avenue and has 48 classes each week. While the main type of yoga is hot yoga, there are other classes, too.
