The Coast Guard announced Saturday that it suspended its search for a missing kayaker in Lloyd Harbor.

As News 12 reported, a crew from another vessel reported the vacant kayak Friday afternoon.

The agency said there was live bait, a fishing pole and a backpack on board.

Officials said multiple crews responded to search for the missing boater. They searched more than 460 miles for 27 hours.

The Coast Guard asks anyone with information that could identify the kayaker to call the agency.
