TODAY: Mostly cloudy with sunny breaks, sun and clouds for eastern Suffolk County. A few spotty showers, best chance of showers will be western Suffolk and Nassau counties. Most of the day overall is dry. Chance of thunderstorms toward this evening in Nassau County. High near 83. Light south wind 5 to 10 mph.
TONIGHT: Scattered showers with a few thunderstorms. Some heavy rain is possible toward morning. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 73. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
Tuesday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 10 a.m. Some heavy rain is possible. Sun and clouds in the afternoon with a spotty shower and thunderstorm. Warm and humid. High near 86, feels like temperatures upper-80s to low-90s. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 15 mph in the afternoon.
