Long Islanders drove through Jones Beach State Park for the Magic of Lights holiday experience on Friday.
Those who came out to the event were treated to colorful displays and Christmas songs on radio station 90.5 FM.
Following the drive, people could warm up at the Toyota Holiday Village where they could pet dogs, make s'mores and take photos with Santa.
Families and friends were happy to take part in the tradition for another year and one newly engaged couple are hoping to make it a new tradition.
"I hope to bring out children here and have them enjoy what we see," says Mary Frances Bitis, of Franklin Square.
The event runs through Dec. 30.
