1h agoA child was airlifted to a hospital Wednesday from Forest Lake Elementary School in Wantagh.
The district’s superintendent says the child was involved in a non-school related incident at around 6 p.m.
He told News 12 that the chopper landed at the school because it was the closest area to land.
It is unclear if the child is from the district.
