Some big changes were rolled out today at Long Island MacArthur Airport.
Some of the changes include a brand new art gallery for passengers to enjoy, along with Long Island Wine and Gifts.
In addition, there is the East End Getaway gift shop and the Lighthouse Grill and Runway restaurant, which provides meals for both passengers and non-passengers.
A news talk radio station will also have its studios at the airport.
During the holiday season, the atrium will host concerts.
Some residents say that the airport needs more airlines to serve passengers and more destinations need to be available.
Supervisor Tom Croci says the town board is working to add an additional airline to MacArthur early in 2015.
