Chance of rain this weekend, bitter winter cold next week in Connecticut

This morning's cold was just a taste of what's coming our way Monday, but first we have some mild weather and rain.

It's a frosty start to our Friday morning, our coldest air so far this season! Temperatures warm up with a strong breeze this afternoon, but the mild air will bring a few showers tonight and early Saturday morning. We have some amazing weather on Saturday afternoon to enjoy, but Sunday afternoon will be gloomy with showers.

Grab the winter jacket next week! Wind chills on Tuesday morning will be in the low 20s and temperatures will likely drop below freezing across most of Connecticut. Temperatures will struggle to reach the mid 40s by Tuesday afternoon, and it looks like the colder than normal weather will linger for the entire work week.
