A Central Islip man is facing charges Tuesday for stalking and forcibly touching teenage girls.
Police say 19-year-old Reginald LaCoste inappropriately grabbed several teen girls since last August. Police say in the latest incident LaCoste followed two girls in his car, then on foot. He is accused of grabbing one of the girls and dragging her onto a lawn before fleeing. Those two girls recognized LaCoste and his vehicle two weeks later and police made an arrest.
Police believe there are several other victims. Anyone who believes they may have been stalked or assaulted by LaCoste is asked to contact the police.
