A Centereach man who allegedly ran a brothel in the house where his children live was arraigned Thursday in Central Islip.
Police raided 39-year-old Raymond Bryan's home on Porpoise Drive Wednesday after a three-month investigation. Bryan was arrested along with two women who also lived in the house. Pamela Silver faces prostitution charges and Eva Gross, Bryan's wife, is accused of endangering the welfare of a child. Bryan faces both prostitution and child endangerment charges. He is being held on $100,000 cash bail. According to authorities, Bryan ran his brothel in the same home where his teenage son and daughter lived.
Officials say Bryan placed ads on Craigslist.org to look for customers. They also claim he was trying to recruit more prostitutes so he could expand his business.
There are two schools in the vicinity of the alleged brothel.
