6ds agoVoters in Center Moriches did not approve of a multimillion-dollar bond issue that would improve the district’s facilities.
The district says 434 people voted NO and 277 voted YES.
The project would have helped with multiple repairs and upgrades throughout the district including security upgrades, and two new boilers.
However, homeowners in the district would have had to pay extra in property taxes.
