A Long Island community is on high alert after a brazen group was captured on video trying to get into several cars.
Malakhai Miller says she was petrified when she came home from work around 12:30 a.m. and saw a group of masked men who were attempting to break into cars.
In a panic, Miller locked her doors, flashed her high beams and the group ran off.
Millers’ boyfriend Bryan Robles came out to get her and they immediately went inside and looked at their security footage.
“I thought it was pretty scary, I thought it was like the purge or something, you see them go from one house to another house and see if they can break into the cars," says Robles.
Police tell News 12 that credit cards and other personal items were stolen from a car parked on Curtis Court.
Curtis Court is just a few blocks from Ardmore Drive, where Miller saw the group.
Police arrested two 16-year-olds, who are facing grand larceny charges.
