Residents in Deer Park were hit with an upsetting discovery Tuesday after finding their cars were vandalized.

The cars were tagged with graffiti on Central Avenue and several other streets.

Janice Pulisic says her nephew noticed it on his car Tuesday morning. She says that's not the only crime that's been happening in the area.

"It's nerve-wracking because this is our home, our kids and you don't know – they broke into other car windows," says Pulisic. "It's posted in our Deer Park community group. People were saying that their car windows were smashed, and things were getting stolen out of their cars and a lot of other cars attacked. It's really frightening."

Pulisic says all of the incidents happened over the last few weeks.
