The Carnegie Deli was set to close its doors for good Friday night.
Customers say the closure of the world famous eatery in Manhattan marks the end of an era.
The deli is known for its oversized sandwiches and walls of celebrity photos.
The Carnegie Deli will maintain locations at Madison Square Garden, the U.S. Open tennis tournament in Queens, Las Vegas and a resort in Bethlehem, Penn.
