Police are investigating an attempted break in at the Pyramids Jewelry location at 6911 5 Ave. that took place Sunday afternoon.
Exclusive footage obtained by News 12 shows a Blue Honda pulling up to the store, before three suspects jump out with what police describe as sledgehammers and attempt to break the glass of the businesses.
After being unable to break in, the trio flees in a car.
Police confirm to News 12 that no one was injured in the incident and that no items were stolen as a result.
Other nearby businesses say they are rethinking their own security.
"They have the glass, you see it broke but it did not shatter, and we are thinking, we should have this, and more cameras, because this is crazy to do something in the middle of the day, we had customers in the store, " said Qais Frehent, who works at nearby Candy Store NutHut.
Police say they currently have a report on file for criminal mischief following the incident and have not yet identified the people in the video.
