The Brookhaven Fire Department Auxiliary is set to host a blood drive Thursday for Joseph Payton Mcdaniel, 10-year-old suffering from acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Acute lymphoblastic leukemia is a cancer of the blood and bone marrow that impacts white blood cells.
The event will take place between 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at 2486 Montauk Highway in Brookhaven.
