A Bronx organization that has served local families for 25 years is adding one more service to its offerings.

Room To Grow in the South Bronx provides support for families raising babies in low-income circumstances and is now partnering with Milk Mate to introduce breast pumping services.

The local organization works with mothers who are in their last trimester of pregnancy all the way up until the child turns 3 years old, and leaders from Room To Grow say a common concern of the mothers is that where they work doesn’t have a safe place for them to breastfeed.

Milk Mate is an all-in-one pumping solution for mothers that is designed specifically for the workplace, eliminating many of the challenges that mothers experience when pumping during the day.

Room To Grow and Milk Mate pride themselves on not requiring mothers to bring anything but themselves in order to pump safely and in privacy.
