Police are questioning a Bronx mother and her boyfriend after a 2-year-old girl was found with burns on her body Wednesday.

The child was removed from a Cross Bronx Expressway apartment. She was treated at Cornell Medical Center for burns on her back and arms. A 3-year-old boy, also in the apartment, was taken into custody by the Administration for Children?s Services.

Police are investigating the incident. There is no word on the condition of the child.
